My Story

Carsten Soer is a young French-Dutch karting driver born in 2014. Passionate about motorsport since always, he is a member of the Rosny 93 club.

In 2022, after a short period of playful karting which confirmed his love for driving and his desire to make a career out of it, he began competing in the “minime” category and joined the Kart Pro Racing (KPR) team, managed by Dominique Chech. This team has counted in its ranks drivers such as Victor Martins (Formula 2), Isack Hadjar (Formula 2) or even Alessandro Giusti (Formula 4) and Lisa Billard, driver at Alpine Rac(h)er Academy Driver.

While he is only at the beginning of his career, his talent for driving and his passion for speed combined with weekly training sessions as well as his ease to quickly learn new tracks allow him to become Vice-Champion of the Ile de France (Paris region) league in his first year.

In 2023, he won the 1st title of Île de France “mini 60” Champion, ahead of 27 other competing drivers aged 8 to 12.

He has only one goal, to reach the highest step of motorsport: to become a Formula 1 driver, like his idols: Gasly, Ocon, or the current world champion Max Verstappen.

“Carsten Soer demonstrated his great potential by winning the title of regional Vice-Champion at the age of 8 after only a few months of driving. The KPR team is happy to count the  young Carsten Soer among its most promising drivers and to support him in his future progress.”  Dominique Chech, former team manager.
